muscle cysts

  Add me to the list of muscle cysts.  I have had a quadricep tendon cyst remove 3 different times...it kept coming back.  The last one was 2 years ago.  My cyst is back...but this time it is in a different spot.  This time it is to the lateral side of my knee...probably fluid cyst...from fluid escaping the patellar capsule.  Stupid thing hurts alot...and when I am on my feet for long periods, gives me fits.
       I guess the old saying " misery loves company" certainly applies.  I wish my ortho would try and figure out WHY they keep returning... CCF....Any ideas???  Thanks....

Most cysts will return unless you can remove the cyst sac at the time of surgery which is not always possible. If a cyst comes back ask the surgeon if they just drained it or actually removed the cyst sac. Good luck
