muscle fasiculations

hello I have experienced body wide twitching along with joint pain not too severe on the pain end but bad enough muscle fatigue sometimes i get numbness sensations in fingers pain in plantar eye floaters and occular migraines this has been going on for over nine months now I have had two emgs all clear one ncv all clear a mri of brain all clear 2 ct scans of brain all clear all the blood tests hiv.hep c,lupus,lyme,thyroid,b-12 etc etc all clear i have started noticing a cramp like sensation not really painfull but my face muscles will tighten then release happens other places too and i have had my right bicep twitching for the last three days non stop and my arm feels heavy or fatigued """" with 9 months gone by now and the tests i have had should i still be concerned about als or ms or any immune disorders i have been told by a neuro at the portland als clinic that she is 99% sure I do not have anything serious but it sure feels serious please help with a response thank you very much

Thank you for your question. This muscle fasciculation appears when the muscle contracts on its own (without nerve stimulation).  Most of the times these symptoms occur without any underlying disorder & they are not harmful or may appear after anxiety, viral illness/or long term illness. But sometimes this muscle twitching appears as atrophy and weakness of muscle as well. Most likely cause of this twitching muscle can be when the nerve supplying to the muscles is not functioning properly due to any neurological disorder. If you suffer continuous weakness and notice reduced strength of muscle bulk in areas, please arrange an appointment with a neurologist right away who will evaluate the possibilities here.
