Dear Drvaidya, Sorry no one has responded to your questions, could be the subject is not as familiar to some people here as the other stuff.

Your multiple myeloma apparently originated in the marrow of your spine and the disease is breaking your bones down, which is making it hard for you to move around, so the treatment you're receiving is supposed to slow its progression.
