my husband has been experiencing incredibly painfulPainful menstrual periods headaches now for about 6 months. we really didnt think that this was anything to think about at the time because he wasnt complaining that often. but then the headaches became more frequent, more painfulPainful menstrual periods and started to limit his dailyDaily combo Daily multiple for men 50+ Daily multiple for women Daily multiple for women 50+ Daily multiple vitamins Daily vite Daily-vite men's formula Daily-vite weight control activities. my husband also started to notice other changes, and so have i because i can view him from another standpoint you know. he became more irregular in his moods. getting incredibly angerIslets of langerhans Ovarian cancer dangers Pancreatic islet cell tumor all of a sudden for a small reason, and then apologizing soon thereafter. his night vision started to get a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys worse, even though i sort of blamed this on his already not so great vision and his contacts. but then i started to notice that his already present myoclonic jerk was even stronger and more noticable. so i scheduled a doctor's appointment for him. his doctor said that he had hyperHyper-sal-reflexes and she classified his headache as "complicated migraines", and scheduled him for an MRI. from that point (ten days ago) until now we have been on edge. searched internet sites worried to death about the horrible possibilities. so far the horrid list ranges from cancer or brain aneuyrsms all the way to sever neurolgical disorders such as ALS or MD i am terrified what do you think is wrong with my husband. Such i be worried? What can we do to improve the quality of life and what precautions should we take?
I understand what you are going through and I am sorry that this had to happen to your husband.
At this point, it would be very premature to already diagnose his condition as either ALS or any other serious disease. Your husband's symptoms are non-specific and could be caused by many conditions. It would be best to wait for the MRI to be done and hear what your neurologist has to say.

Good luck.
