The doctors might call the numbness paresthesia or peripheral neuropathy (you might look those up). You should get your vit B 12, B 6 and potassium levels checked, as low levels of these can cause numbness or change in sensation. You should also get MS or multiple sclerosis ruled out as that has the potential to cause numb legs as well. You might want to get an EMG on your legs.
You should get the circulation checked in your legs as already suggested. They might use a color doppler on your legs & check blood pressures in your legs. My grandma had peripheral vascular disease and this caused her great pain, but eventually one of her feet went numb and she started to get gangrene. Peripheral vascular disease has been seen as young as teenage years from what I read before.
See PM for more info.
Unsure but you should see a Neurologist
Hello, I am a new member and will be glad to help you the best I can. Well, my mother used to have those episodes with her legs. I believe it was that she had poor blood circulations in her legs due to them giving out on her and causing her to loose feeling. You may want to get test to see if are a diabetic. Usually diabetics have this problem and people that have arthritis to. I will suggest you check with your doctor about this matter. If you don't have diabetes, then you might have arthritis and don't know you have it. keep me updated on your problem. Im glad I could help.
take care
