myclonic jerking

by suki691, Apr 06, 2009 04:57PM
I had surgery on a broken ankle. In recovery I was not responding & was given 3 injections of a drug that was supposed to bring me out of the anetheisia. I went into cardiac arrest & the porttion of the brain that keeps us breating ceased to function. I was in a coma & on life support for 5 days. Since then, I have this jerking. My neurologist has me on keppra. At times I fall. Will this go away in time? Was there some irreversable brain damage?
