I had skull base surgery (retrosigmoid) to have a 4.5cm acoustic neuroma removed 2 months ago and had a bout of delayed viral (chemical?) meningitis.
My neurosurgeon says that my symptoms are being caused as a reaction to the meningitis, but it just doesnt ring true to me. I've tried to do lots of research on it and I kind find either fasciculation/tremor/or myoclonus twitching as a symptom of any form of meningitis.
So I guess I have two questions:
1. Am I worrying for no reason?
2. I know that fasciculations are a classic sign of MND, but where do fasciculations fit in? Are they common in MND too?
