need help finding a doctor

by hol201, Nov 12, 2008 06:28PM
Jim is 53 years old and had a brain stem stroke in Feb 2008.  He has recovered from the stroke, thankfully, but he has a constant light-headedness and dizziness 24/7.  Could you help us find a doctor/specialist who deals with this type of ailment or somewhere where there is vestibular therapy that has proven results?  He has been to several Neurologists and goes for PT & Vestibular therapy.  Nothing so far is working.  We live in RI, but are willing to travel to find the treatment he really needs.  Thanks,

Don't know of a Specialist, but you may want to focus on balance techniques such as hippotherapy (uses horses) or water therapy.

Keep fighting!
