need some help please!

Hi, i am a 23 year old female. and i have been having a few symptoms that make me want to see a doctor. but my husband thinks i am over reacting and doesnt want the extra medical bills. Lately my vision has been extremely "snowy" and i see "after images" that kind of last for a while, my vision is particuraly worse at night when i am tried and when its dark. when it is dark, all i can see is the snow. Also i have been getting shooting pains a few times a day behind my eyes, and i get headaches maybe a couple times a week behind my eyes. my ears will get a high pitch ring a copule times a day, i have constant muscle twitches in different areas of my body that will last for a while, like tonight a muscle was twitching in my leg for over 5 minutes. I cannot sleep.. i am usually up until 3 or 4 am, and when i am tired i have tremors, where my whole body will "shake". if this is all just to do a health anxiety id rather not see a doctor because i dont want to go on an anti depressant (I am not depressed),  a while back i was persrbied Zoloft and had all the side affects and so i will never try another anit depressant again. thanks for any advice anyone has to offer.

PLEASE LOOK UP MIGRANE HEADACHES  ON YOUR COMPUTER I HAVE THEM BUT I GET THEM ONLY ON ONE SIDE AND SOMETIMES I GOTTON A AURA IT WAS FLASHING LIGHTS. I GET SICK SOMETIMES AND THROUGH UP. I GO INTO A DARK ROOM AND PUT A ICE PACK ON THE SIDE OF MY HEAD. THE MIRGAIN HEADACHE IS CAUSED BY STRESS WHAT YOU EAT CHOCLATE. THINGS LIKE THAT THE SUN IF IM OUT LONG TIME. I HAVE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE THATS CAUSES IT TO. PUT SINCE I EAT BETTER AND HAVE MY BLOOD PRESSURE UNDER CONTROLL  I HAVE NOT GOTTON THEM . I WOULD SUGGEST LOOKING UP ON THE COMPUTER AND YOU KNOW IF YOU HAVE MIGRAIN HEAD ACHES

Hi there,
I just read your post and I have had the exact same symptoms as you explained above, except for the body tremors. I have seen an ophthalmologist, there is no optic neuritis or inflammation. I was told by 2 different neurologists that it is the after effects of a migraine headache, and that it should subside with time. Well, its been 4 weeks later and I still have the same symptoms as you described and it is starting to drive me crazy. Unfortunatley the neurologists are just going on "gut" feeling without having done any real tests on me, except for CT and MRI of the brain. My biggest fear is autoimmune disease, but they all say, don't worry, its not that....its so frustrating. Did you find out what your problem was? Wishing you well.....thanks. Any info you can share with me would be very helpful!

Hi,

How are you?
There is a possibility that these symptoms are due to migraine. Migraine attacks are usually preceded by aura. Snowy vision is a part of the migraine aura. Headaches may or may not be present.
Another cause is optic neuritis or inflammation of the optic nerve. Lyme disease and autoimmune disorders can also cause visual snow.
This symptom needs further evaluation. Please schedule an appointment with an ophthalmologist at the earliest. Take care!
