negative tests results

I was recently referred to a new neurologist because my other on thought my myasthenia gravis was to severe for him to handle. The new doctor ran blood work and I tested negative for antibodies and he did a emg which was normal. I was diagonosed when I was in a crisis by being put on mestinon which I responded to very quickly. I have since had several crisis where they have had to play with my prednisone ,mestinon, and imuran but the last 2 times I have had to have IVIG. Which has brought me out of them very well. This new doctor says this is a pyscological thing and that I don't have mg. Even though during one of my severe crisis I had to be put on a ventilator. He wants me to stop my mestinon and imuran and in 2 weeks start tapering off my prednisone. Does it sound like I'm crazy and its all in my head or should I look for a new doctor.
