Hi,
I was recently diagnoses with RSD and had my first sympathetic nerve block yesterday is it normal to not feel as much relief as I have read about. I am still stiff and numbness and tingling in my toes. The effected area is my right knee.do have a warm feeling in that leg thathas been cold for a long time.
How are you?
Nerve blocks are generally given in the vicinity of the nerves that may be the source of pain. Sometimes nerve blocks are given in the lumbar spine eg lumbar epidural block.
A lumbar epidural block can cause pain in the back.
