I'm waiting for a biopsy for a nerveNerve biopsy Nerve conduction velocity sheath tumor near the coxxys. If it's cancer I have to have surgery. If it's not..........
I hear surgery can cause chronic pain that cannot be helped...what I don't know is what are the chances of that? a Mayo paper said most docs 'wait and see' because of this risk. But it's 2 cm now...if bigger (and I assume it will grow) won't it be even harder to remove causing more risk of the pain? Also doc said pain is awful after surgery even if not chronic. How awful? What can help? I need to make a decision soon. Thank you. ***@****
Also does anyone have any docs in Ohio?
