i am 44years old. suddenly the last few days, my right leg outer thigh has been involuntuaily twitching what do you think could be the reason? is there any medication.?
If the twitching come and goes, you may think of benign fasciculation syndrome (BFS). This results in twitching anywhere in the body, and is related to stress.
Alternatively, and before you think of BFS, you need to rule out any nerve compression at the spinal cord level. Do you recall any low back injury or pain?
