neurological symptoms

I noticed a tremor in right hand around 3 months ago worst when i turned hand and would stop if i used the hand.  At the same time, both palms became numb, hands, forearm weak. About a week later woke up numb from around knees down both legs then.  Few days later entire left side of body became numb, tingling.  Have continued to have intermittent numbness mainly in patches on left side.  Left cheek has remained numb constantly.  The night the left side became numb, starting have muscle "spasms" or jerking movements in left upper body.  Followed in a few days by Parkinson like tremors only on left side--head.  Now 3 months later main problems bothering me are signficant tremors and spasms effecting left side of upper body.  This isn't all day everyday but do have significant symptoms everyday, some days almost impossible to accomplish work.  Have had every imaginable test, MRIs, MRA's of head and cervical spine, LP with MS workup,  nerve induction studies of left side, lots of lab work.  All negative except West Nile IgG.  Neuro feels this is neurological side effects of WN but Igm is negative so i am concerned that is not it.  Did have flu like illness in late spring 2010 and have had bad headache, neck pain at least 3-4 months before other stuff started so those could have started after the "flu" illness.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Neuro has offered to send me to a specialist--i thought that was what he was--if i feel nessessary.  I dont know what to do.  Getting quite desperate.  I have a job that really requires me to be there mentally 100% but this is causing me some difficulty.
Thanks for any advice.

Has Lyme's and EBV been ruled out?

Neuro is a specialist, but he probably feels the primary problem is not neuro.  Sounds like neuro secondary to infection.

Have you seen an Infectious Disease Specialist?  I would have this West Nile situation further investigated.

Lyme and EBV negative.

I have not seen an ID doc.

I would be glad to accept the diagnosis of neurologicalside effects of West Nile if the symptoms had started right after the flu like illness in spring and if the IgM had been positive.  Just concerned we're missing something.
Thanks for the advice.
