neurology tests

by RVRadev, Apr 11, 2007 12:00AM
Hello!
My son is now almost 6 and he had a febrile seizure a week ago. This is his second one. The first he had when he was 3.
The seizure was a simple one- it lasted about 2 minutes and he returned back to normal pretty quickly.
What I am worried about is if there can be any negative effects as a consequence.
He has been somewhat different than most children his age around him:
- he started talking quite late- at about 3.
- he can not keep his attention focused on anything for more than 2-3 min.
- he is usually extremely active
- he does not want to do any studying or work

There have not been any problems during birth, however, being very acive from an early age, he has hit his head pretty bad a few times and broke his arm.

Will appreciate any advice on tests we can do to make sure that everything with him is ok.
