nueropathy

by tggktf4, Jun 28, 2007 08:40PM
I am 41 year old female having symptoms of nueropathy in bilateral foot pads and occassional finger tips. My mom died one year ago . She had MS for 33 years. I am very concerned. Never felt anything like this before. It is a strange type of feeling. I can still drive and walk. I just recently started taking cymbalta 60 mg once a day for my nerves and stress. I function normally. I have been trying to ride my recumbent bike every day for 5 miles. My kness have begun to ache. I am not sure what is wrong with me. I have no vision problems. No problems grasping anything. Everything else seems to be fine. Family doctor does not seem to concerned even with my family history. I am due to have a nerve conduction study on Tuesday. Trying hard not to worry. Any input would be greatly appreciated. If anyone is feeling the same way please write back. Toni

you may want to get some nerve testing done, and some bloodwork to check for MGUS or other protein abnormalities that can cause neuropathy.

hi i'm 36 and i've had bilateral neuropathy in my ankles and wrists for many years. so far i am undiagnosed. the best way to describe the pain i have is that it's like little fairies inside me tugging on my veins. is that what you feel?
i think part of the problem is that the pain is so hard to describe and no one has heard of it.
