numb chin

Hi, Last night my chin went numb under my lower lip for about 2 minutes.
Then about 30 seconds later it did it again.  I am 23 years old and I read the childs diagnosis.
but it doesn't pertain to me.  I also have inflamed cyst on my neck.
Please give me some advice.  Cid

Nothing really comes to mind. Persistent numbness of the chin usually suggests compression of a nerve, but transient numbness doesn't really fit that.
I see no connection between the cyst on your neck and the transient chin numbness.
If this recurs, I suggest you see your doctor, who can examine you and try to see if there is anything else he/she can detect which could give a clue. Often, however, with transient numbness, we end up empty-handed.
I hope this helps. CCF MD mdf.
