numb pinky and ring finger

My ring finger and pinky finger on my right hand all the way to the wrist is numb and has been for over a week.  I also niticed one day this week when I stretched out my arm and moved it a certin way it shot a pain from my elbow to my fingers...kinda like when you hit your funny bone pain.  any idea's or type of physical therapy excersises i can do to help.

Hi, probably this is due to ulnar nerve entrapment. Resting on elbows at work, using elbows to lift the body from bed, and resting elbows on car windows while driving all are causes of paraesthesia (tingling)
