numbness, tingeling, pain

I have had numbness in my hands and a little down the front of my calves into my feet for a few years.  Also along the way I have had some muscle pain but the doctor attributed it to once anemia another time to b-12.  I have also had joint pain for about the same time Rhemy said all test were clear.  A few months ago I woke with extrem pain in my chest and rib cage and around to my back.  Upper right abdominal area was hurting.  My arm and leg muscles were so sore that at one point it felt like someone was pulling off my arms.  All test were negative except for a very low vitamin D.  Two weeks after this I was still fighting the pain but it wasn't as bad.  I started with a blue flashing light in my right eye and had pain and a little tingeling in it.  The eye doctor didn't see anything but ordered an Mri.  The optic nerve looks good but there are some things on the mri that he wants me to see a neurologist.  I have been having some weird things happen like very cold hands, an itchy tip of my nose.  Also still some numbness in my hands and feet.  The most odd thing is the vibrating I experence at night or when I lay down to nap.  Like i'm shaking but I'm not.  I am very anxiets about having to wait for the neurology appintment because of the eye thing.  I also just found out I have lost some color vision.  About 5 weeks ago the said I had fibromyalgia but that was before the eye and mri.  any thoughts would be helpful I am scared.

I have been experiencing much of the same symptoms as you both but not as severe (Thank God!). I fall asleep rather easily but my problem is that I wake up too early. I usually get 6 hours of sleep at the most and it's very irritating. Recently my hands have been "falling asleep" very often and my hands also have the "falling asleep" sensation when I wake up. I don't have any other pain other than in my back but it comes and goes and it isn't severe just annoying. I also seem to be lightheaded for much of the day. My family and doctor think it's stress as I am graduating college soon and I'm stressing over my project and my job. Plus it probably doesn't help that I'm stressing over whether my symptoms are related to MS or not. It's constantly on my mind but I'm trying to just push it in the back of my head. I too also had the shaking when I lay down in bed. It feels like my whole bed is shaking. I have a MRI scheduled for next Friday and I'm hoping everything comes back normal. I will post my results once I get them. I hope you are both doing well.

Hi yes I have also now had a mri of the neck and back to check for lession to rule out ms.  All clear with that.  The blue flashing light isn't as much but is there occationally.  My eye dosn't hurt as much but does tingel sometimes.  My neuro just sent me for a mra to check the vessels in the head.  I will see a retna specialist on monday the nuero on tuesday to discuse the results of all the tests.  Also had an emg and othere things they hook up to your head.  They wanted to rule out ms.  On thursday I will see the new rhemy I am going to.  She orderd more blood work.  I will let you know on Friday about everything.  I am hoping by then we will know what I'm looking at.  It's very discoraging.  You think your going crazy with all this weird stuff going on.  The vibration is really weird.  One time on the couch it was happening and I think I may have just about to fall asleep and woke up suddenly and opened my eyes and the whole room was vibrating.  Thats the first time that happened.  It was like my eyes were jumping up and down.  I hope after this week I will have some answers.  I will keep in touch and don't think you are going crazy.  Scan this web site and you will see there are many out there with everything we are experencing.  Take care.
