optic neuritis/MS or Fibromyalgia

Started having pain in my right eye with blurred vision in July. Numbness and tingling on right side of face, arm and leg.  Opthmalogist said my optic nerve had fluid and field of vision test showed problems too.  I had an MRI w/ contrast. The report said 4 lesions with diagnosis of MS.  Saw a neurologist said the lesions were questionable so had a spinal tap.  That came back normal.  Did 3 days of Solumedrol with some relief in pain and vision.  Two weeks after treatment saw opthmalogist again because vision disturbances, pain, numbness/ tingling were still present.  Had some days with excruciating pain in head on right side only.  Optic nerve still had fluid and field of vision was not improved.  Saw a Neuro-opthmalogist this week and says optic nerve looks good with no damage.  Thinks I am having migraines. He says optic neuritis can not last this long. I still have days where vision is grey or blurred and pain behind eye.  
In 2002 I had similar problems but MRI showed no lesions.  I was later diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.  Could this truly be MS as first thought or can I be having a Fibro flare up?  I have no idea of where to go next!!
