pain 5 months after corpectomy

I had my surgery 4 months ago corpectomy anterior 5 thru 7. I was so optimistic I got the feeling back in my hand.
was feeling weak but the pain was decreasing. They had talked about doing a second surgery and putting in some rods to stabilize. When I went back for my 8 week check they said it looked really good no need for the second surgery.
However this past month  it has been  geting worse the pain is increasing and now I am starting to get dizzy when climbing stairs etc.
I am scared don't know what I am suppose to do anymore who wants to live on pain killers.
I go back to see my surgeon in a month. Scared he will say he needs to do a second surgery but also scared he will say sorry this is what you will have to live with. whatt do expect
