pain in neck and head

by micheller70, May 02, 2009 11:21AM
Sometimes out of the blue I will get a shooting pain on the left side of my neck and shoots up to my head.  It stops me in my tracks.  It only lasts a couple of seconds.  But while it is happening i can't move. I remember it happeining a couple of times in the past but I didn't think anything of it.  I just thought I moved wrong or something.  Here lately it has been happening more often and I am becoming concerned.  I just found out that I have a under active thyroid problem and just started medicine for it.  Do you think that my thyroid has anything to do with this condition.  Should I be concerned.  I am 39 years of age and otherwise in good health.

This discussion is related to shooting neck to head pains.

hi buddy,
you need neck physiotherapy only. That will help you a lot. Meed a good physiotherapist to formulate an exercise regime to treat this problem.
