painful head popping

For a couple of years now and becomming more frequent (2-3 times a week), when i turn or lift my head i experience a pop in my head / back of the head, that i hear and even people around me have heard. they are always a jolt of pain some worse than others, the pain doesn't last long but has lingered on. I am also noticing that i am getting more headaches and migrains. I have also experienced my vision burr for 1-2 seconds. Im getting nervous that this could be something serious and if i should have it checked out and by who?

If you have a PCP then I would have them investigate more, perhaps they would order scans (MRI or CT) and if they felt as if you needed to be evaluated by a neurologist then they would probably do so.. I don't know what it could be but the symptoms are bad enough to where I would suggest you be seen about it..
