pedicle screws

I had a 4/5 decompression,l5/s1 posterior lumbar interbody fusion with pedicle screwfixation in 2001.One of my screws are in crooked.My legs have become weak and I am having a lot of pain in my lower back,difficulty sleeping due to this pain.It was suggested to have the screws removed. Do you thjnk this will help with my pain?
