periventicular white matter

by carpee68, Aug 20, 2008 01:22PM
I have been experiencing a pressure sensation in the front part of my head. i had an MRI done and these are the findings : There is no evidence of an intracranial mass.Ventricular system is normal in size and symmetric about the midline. there is minimal,if any, periventicular white matter disease. There is no significant sinus disease; a tiny retentiion cyst or polyp is noted in the right maxillary sinus. following gadolinium administration, no abnormal foci of enchancement are demonstrated.      impression : Normal brain MR      Primary diagnostic code: Minor Abnormality. I have an appointment in 2 months, could somebody help me understand these, the periventicular  white matter disease ect .thanks for the help.
