persistent migraine aura - visiual - 2wks - positive ANA

I am a 34 yr old female; I have been experiencing a persistent visual migraine aura for 2 weeks - constant, yet very subtle.   Below is a timeline of events
-4 weeks ago: numb great left toe - has not gone away
-3 weeks ago: started experiencing subtle migraine auras (with subtle headaches following) - visual auras, numbness in hands / fingers / feet . mouth - tends to favor left side, but does happen in both sides - cognitive functioning seems slower / confused - also feel fatigue.
2 weeks ago - visual auras decided to stay - haven't gone away - very subtle aura - almost feels like a little shaky vision right before a normal aura presents itself - is in both eyes.  i can read fine, but just a slight distortion in the overall vision - like a little flicker is happening all over.

MRI=clean / Positive ANA (do not have numbers - was told "slightly high"); arthritic levels very very low all other bloodwork cam back healthy. I do not have joint pain or any of the lupus symptoms. I do have an underactive thyroid (syntrhoid 75mcg).
Other notes - started weaning a baby from breastfeeding - this is when symptoms started - i have since weaned the baby completely (2 days ago) and hoping this helps this problem.  Neurologist doesn't seemed too concerned - Recommends  a opthomologist for the vision (I really think this is a persistent migraine aura)?  Not sure I agree, but don't know what to do - any suggestions?  Overall, have had a history of migrain auras-nothing this extreme.  Headaches have always been subtle and manageable.  The auras themselves are more prominent.
