petite mal seziures or epelepsy

I've had 2x MRI , EEG, spinal tap, nothing resulting from any of them except 3 small insignificant spots on brain mri.
I have memory loss problems. At first it was suggested that i may have MS. Now the doctors say seizures peptitemal, and either narcalepesy or catalepysy which i have no clue why, none of my symptoms match either, I just have Memory loss, I don't drink or smoke, or do drugs, Im only 40, menopause was also a theory. Ive been looking for answers for 2 years. Please help. My doctor explain that my brain is shorting out like wires. "brain freeze" brought on by not sleeping my brain needs to shut down. I've never completely fallen  asleep during the day. Petite mal sounds close. But epelpsy sounds right also.  I'd just like someone eleses opinion. my two Neurologist can't decide.
