please explain in easy terms...

I have been having numbness, tingling, and pins and needle s in my left leg, left arm and now left lower jaw. I have had 2 mmris with and without contrast. In 2009 it showed 2 hyperintensities. Now in 2011 the mri results say ...There are numerous 3-5mm diameter T2 hyperintensities throughout the white matter of both frontal and parietal lobes. The optic pathways are spared. No lesion is identified in the pons or midbrain. No diffusion restriction abnormalities are present and there is no abnormal enhancement. No lesion is identified within the corpus callosum. The optic nerves are symmetric and unremarkable in appearance. Ventricles and cortical sulci have a normal appearance....Can someone explain what this means. My neurologist has spoken about possible ms. Thanks.
