This could be a symptom of MS, please check with your Dr and have an MRI.
I am a 19 year old female and have been suffering from constant headaches (wakes me up and stays with me throughout the day, dizziness (room spinning and lightheadedness), weakness on one side of my body (right side), nausea, and tiredness. This has been going on for a few months now and is getting worse and worse. I'm going in for a MRI soon but literally am lost on what this could be :(
I think you need to get an MRI done, a CT scan will only show bleeding in the brain, It WILL NOT show a tumor, I know this because my boyfriend who is 23 randomly had a seizure after dinner on a Friday night and fell in our garage, the ambulance took him to the hospital that night and we were their till 5am sat morning left and they blamed it on stress, HELLO every American is STRESSED these days! We got home after they said he was fine CT scan went well and they did an EKG on him and also said that was fine, we got home sat morning after leaving the hospital and it happened again another seizure, foaming at the mouth, bleeding from where he bit his tongue, would not respond to me, he was even snoring while his eyes were rolling in the back of his head, I didn’t know what to do I’m 22 years old and have never seen anything like it, I wasn’t home for his first one but his best friend caught him in our garage thank god! I got home since I had to drop something off to my parents who thank god lives up the street from us, but I’ve never seen anything like it before and now I see why his friend was panicking, I called 911 and before I left him I checked his heart and it was still beating I ran and got my neighbors who is on the EMT squad at the fire station, 911 was asking me so many questions it wasn’t calming me down and wasn’t fixing what was going on, then I had cops come to our house and they called for another ambulance, long story short they found he had a brain tumor behind his left eye but in the brain, he had surgery that following Monday, he had headaches but we thought it was from him working 64 hrs a week, he had told me he had blur vision but now doesn’t remember telling me that after his surgery, and he had a seizure and he didn’t have that run in his family and he had never had one before. So yes please go to the DR and get an MRI, if you feel like something is wrong most likely your gut feeling is correct. They found abnormal tissue around the tumor and yes it was cancer but when they removed the tumor he no longer has the cancer because they got it all out. He doesn’t have to have treatment but he can not drive for 6 months per DMV, but he has been doing so good he has no nerve where they did his surgery that took over 5 hrs, but everything is great now and I’m happy because now he can watch our son grow up! He was in the hospital for 6 days they did his surgery on Monday and released him that Wednesday. He just has to watch what he does. I hope all is well with you! This stressed me out so much! But I have learned so much from it.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that when I had the inner ear infections, I was running a low grade temp also. My ear didnt hurt at all, and no sinus problems, cold symptoms, nothing. Just low grade temp, dizziness, and nausea-felt like I was a little "car sick" from the dizziness. I had a headache too, but I have headaches everyday-I have chronic daily headaches, so that wasnt unusual for me. Anyway, just wanted to add that to what I wrote above. Take care!
Hi! I'm just wondering if maybe you just have an inner ear infection/vertigo. I never had this before until a couple of years ago and went to the DR thinking I was having a stroke or had a brain tumor. But it was just an inner ear infection with vertigo. They gave me antibiotics and prescribed a good strong antihistamine and it went away. Unfortunately, I have had a couple more inner ear infections since. I also get vertigo problems (the dizziness-feeling like your swaying on a boat like you said) quite often. I usually pop a Benadryl and it seems to help a lot. Hopefully this is all that your problem is. But, I would have the MRI just to be sure. Hope this helps you in some way. Take care!
Thank you so much for your post...you have no idea how much better it made me feel...
My mind is making me crazy....
Thank you

Hi..your post is of interest to me because last August I had some very simlar symptoms. Mine occurred overnight. Tightness(no pain) in head with pressure in my ears, dizziness, occasional blurred vision, and some pain and numbness in my lips and nose. These symptoms were bearable until I diagnosed myself with "brain tumor". Take my advice...don't do that. I literally put myself to bed until I could see a neuro. My clinical evaluation was normal and I still demanded an MRI. This was also normal. The dr. diagnosed me with "neck tension causing pressure on cranial nerves". It sounds as if you could have sinus or ear problems...they each can cause the symptoms you have described. To ease your mind, however, I think a neuro visit would be in order. But if he tells you it's OK...trust him. Otherwise, you will end up with all kinds of symtoms created by the stress. Best wishes for a happy and healthy future.

Personally, it doesn't sound like a tumor, but if you're that concerned, you should get an MRI. You could be dizzy because of your sinusitis. If it effects your ear and it's swollen or even inflamed a little, it could give you symptoms of dizziness. And it'll be exactly how you described -- like you're on a boat. Maybe you should see a specialist about that. He could prescribe you ear drops that will help the swollen and inflamed infected areas of the ear.
Yes see a neuro , i was looking at a possible brain tumor in the summer , two lesions on my brain. They got less prominent, so it may be MS . i hope you feel better. I was very scared to of a brain tumor but it wasn't one . Ty g. I am only a patient so please see your neuro
