post accident mystery

Feburary 20th, 2010 I had a snow tubing accident. In a one lane there is three smaller hills down each, as i was going down the lane i was going up the second hill when i became airborne, lost my tube, fliped forward and landed on the back of my head, rolled on my neck and finished on my back. I was conscience through the whole accident and was able to get up and go indoors. After the accident I had a headache in the back of my head, as the night progressed the pain went down my neck, back, and i began to get tingling sensations in the back of my legs and soles of my feet. Later that night i vomited and began seeing spots. I had a concussion with swelling of the back of my brain but no bleeding. A week after the accident I began getting tingling sensations in my right hand and arm, the next night I was unable to keep my right hand open for more than a second, two nights later my right tumb began twitching then it spread through my right hand up my arm. It lasted three hours. The next night the same thing happened and lasted the same amount of time and i was admitted into the hospital. all the CAT scans,CT scans, and MRI scans came back negative and was released after three days. the uncontrolable movements continued.two weeks after being released from the hospital the uncontrolable movements in my right hand and arm persisted and both of my legs started began having theses uncontrolable movements this lasted 3-4 hours that night. The next night the same thing happened, the third night it happened  my eyes rolled into the back of my head and i lost conscience and woke up in the hospital. my EGG came back negative. For three more days/nights the same thing happens except when my eyes roll back I was conscience but after the episodes end I'm unable to speak. My last night in the hospital my legs contored in a squating position for an hour addition to the 7 hour episode I was having. The night I'm released from the hospital I had another episode except this time there was no eye rolling and I was able to speak. I was unable to walk without assistance from a walker for a week and a few days. What I have is not a muscle spasm or a seziure, the doctors i have seen are clueless to what I am having, and i still have these unexplained episodes, tingling in my legs, soles of my feet, right hand and arm; pain in neck and back and headaches. All are constant that last all day everyday. When I have these episodes they are extremely painful and can last 5 mintues to 8 hours, they occur randomly at any point of day and last any amount of time. I'm want to know something about this instead of the "I don't know" from medical professionals. This has has a huge impact on my life and restrictions to what I can do. I'm sixteen yaers old and its three months of my symtoms (symptoms) adding up to have no answers. All my test have come back negative.

Thank you for your question. Although without being able to examine you, I can not offer you the specific advice on diagnosis and treatment that you need, but I would try to provide you some relevant information about your health concern.

Usually, such symptoms may result due to post-concussion syndrome and may last for weeks or months after the injury that caused from the injury of a fall, vehicle accident, or sports injury.  For treatment approach, first it is essential to get (MRI) done to detect the brain or spinal abnormalities after that injury. Treatment commonly may be suggested for symptoms such as pain-killers, some antidepressants, physical therapy and regular exercises. If you suffer continuous symptoms, please arrange an appointment with a neurologist right away who will evaluate the possibilities here and can provide you an appropriate treatment. Further referral to a psychologist may be also helpful in order to treat usual anxiety or depression after such injuries (sometimes one may have) that may be one of the aggravating factors for persistent symptoms. Hope this information proves helpful to you. Take Care & Regards!!!
