Hi,
Spinal stenosis is a medical condition in which the spinal canal narrows and compresses the spinal cord and nerves. This is usually due to the common occurrence of spinal degeneration that occurs with aging. It can also sometimes be caused by spinal disc herniation or protrusion , osteoporosis or a tumor. Spinal discs are located between the vertebrae in the back. Sometimes these discs protrude into the spinal canal and press on the nerves passing through it. The treatment may include physiotherapy and exercises, medication and surgery. Hope this helps you. Take care and regards!
