problem remembering words

For the past year or so, I've been having problems remembering and focusing. Before I can get through a paragraph, I've forgotten that quick what I have read.  I'm also having trouble finishing my sentences because I can't remember simple words to express my thoughts.  I also have migraines around the same time every month.
Is this stress related or related to something else.

Stress can make it hard to focus on things, and it can lead to memory problems, too, especially if you are sleep deprived. Hormones problems, like during perimenopause, can bring these symptoms on, too.

Have you seen your doctor lately?

Are you on medication for the migraines? (If yes, it could be that the medication or medications are having side effects.)

Thanks YVETTE BG.  I had a sleep study done, but hesitant to have an MRI done as I have read articles that it can CAUSE cancer.
I have been experiencing some perimenopause sysptoms though.
I'm trying different things such as changing my diet a little and sleeping with the tv on low volume which seems to help me sleep for some strange reason.
I have to think about my next steps

That is exactly what I'm going through! My whole life has been a ball of stress and recently I can't express myself corectlly, I have a hard time focusing and this is lowering my self esteem! My family and my job depend on me and I feel I have let every one down at the same time I'm so angry at the situation. What could be wrong??
