prognosis of cerebral cavernoma after surgery

a person aged 27yrs had underwent surgery for left parietal cavernoma.it was removed totally.now he is on Tab.sodium valproate-300mg tid,Tab.lobajam od,he under went surgery one and half year back.i wish to know whether there will be any problem in the future?how long he should use the tablets?is that a severe problem?
