- is it possible that the cause of all this was the pseudotumor cerebri?
- what else can I take or do to relieve the symptoms ( I need to study but it's almost impossible)
- considered the last time I hade an episode like this.. it lasted almost a year.. should I or is it wise to believe that this time it will be better again in a few months too? or how long does it usually take to become balanced a little bit?
Thank you for those who respond to this.. and for everyone suffering from any form of dysautonomia...we will turn out to be the strongest.. :)
From what you have described, you may really have dysautonomia. The more important thing is that the cause for this dysautonomia should be pinpointed. For elderly persons, this is more commonly due to vascular problems such as stroke. Given your history of pseudotumor cerebri, I believe that it is possible that all of these symptoms can be due to that. Unless an intervention is done (like lumbar puncture or VP shunting), then the symptoms may not improve and may get worse. I suggest that you go back to your neurologist and have yourself worked up again. You may need to increase the medications for the pseudotumor and be worked up for other possible causes.
I hope you can be rid of these symptoms soon. Regards and God bless.
