reglan and parkinsons

my mom was told she had parkinsons about 8 years ago, she is now 80 years old. I am her full time care taker. she said her doctor told her it would affect her legs, so she just quite tring to walk. I have watched her over these years and when she is given reglan she has tremors , when the reglan stops the tremors do also. she was taking reglen when she was diagnosed with PD. could it have been a mistake ? we are concerned as a family because we understand PD can be inherited . she has no other symthoms and has been off all PD medicine since 1-1-2011
