ask your Dr about the combo of Mirapex .25m and Gabapentin 200m per nite.  works pretty well for me but sems nothing is a permanent fix.  been thru dopamine treatment, clonapin, requip, all either worked for a while but w/ side effects, or didn't work at all.
good luck

Dear Vicki,
There is an RLS group over in the "sleep disorders" section of this forum.  I have RLS, and I have the painful kind, where my legs hurt all the time, I take codeine for it.  Lots of things do trigger RLS and make it worse, but I have no idea how the thyroid works with that.  There is an rls.org website that has a list of stuff that can make RLS worse.  Remember "worse" is generally temporary, like a lot of standing one day will make your legs hurt more for a while, until you've had a chance to rest.
