resuscitation side effects

Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if I'm in the right forum but I have a question regarding any possible side effects of being resuscitated after drowning.
It is in relation to research I am doing on a woman who claims that has drowned and been resuscitated "THREE TIMES"!

Naturally I am skeptical about her claim esp. considering the fact that she has no brain damage whatsoever. (Apart from temporary memory loss following the second drowning incident. (She also claims that on the first and third occasion CRP was performed within seconds of her losing consciousness)

Are these claims possible/plausible without any permanent brain-damage?

I really appreciate any help on this matter.

Kind regards,

Piet

The question is meaningless.

Can there be three instances of ventricular fibrillation that are successfully converted to normal simus without loss of sentience? The answer is yes.

On the other hand she may have had a functioning heart and only been in respiratory arrest.
