mentalMental retardation
Mental status tests hazing of vision, and eye pain when looking side-to-side. Also have had positional dizziness with nystagmus...dizziness doesn't subside until I sit back up. Some relief when putting
pressurePressure ulcer on the affected areas of the skull (mainly forehead region). Also holding nose and blowing air into ears and holding give tremendous relief, but very temporary. ENG dizziness testing negative. Also High pitched tinnitus much worse in quiet rooms. Most recently, constant eyelid/orbital twitches.
I have been imaged my brain and neck. The anomolies found have been 1) EEG-slowing of Delta waves.... 2) MRI brain/neck- 3 centimeter extraaxial benign osseous (bony)lesion above left orbit, maybe (probably?) fibrous dysplasia; Mild to moderate spondylosis at most levels C2-C6. 3) MRA- kinking of right internal carotid at C2 level.
My neurologist (who is at a major university) doesn't know what to tell me anymore and cannot find an answer to my problem. Do you think any of these problems COULD be causing my problems? I'm especially wondering about the carotid kinking. The fibrous pressing against a nerve or a sinus? The carotid kinking causing a blood flow malfuntion? The spondylosis? Any other ideas?
30 yrs old, otherwise healthy, well built, a little overweight not much
PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME I AM SERIOUSLY "DESPERATE"
Also, if it is a "bony" lesion as the doc thinks, I have to wonder why it shows up so clear on the MRI. Are there any thoracic spinal problems that maybe causing this because I allways have back pain in the middle of my back, I wonder if a small tumor or something could be pressing on a main artery around there, Yes I know I sound like I'm jumping around here but I'm so desperate can you please help me
thanks and merry christmas to you
