The burning pain suggests the involvement of some nerve which is causing the pain.There could be some impringement or a pinched nerve or some compression irritatating the nerve.You need to consult a neurologist and get a MRI done to diagnose the condition.Also consult your surgeon before going for the wrist surgery.
