right side chest, ribs pain

by kitt73, Oct 09, 2008 03:29PM
I am 33yrs old female, been smoking for 15 years. Recently I have had aburning sensation followed with a sharp pinc feeling on right side when a breath, swallow and eat (very uncomfortable). I have gotten chest & rib x-rays and nothing showed. My throat has been bothering me as well. I whent to a nose, ear, throat doctor and he believes it is acid reflex and he put me on Nexium. It has helped a little (i've been on it for 2days), but now my right side ribs feel soar . Please help advise what this might be and what steps I need to take.
