scar tissue and bulging disks causing chronic pain

I have terrible pain in my upper back, lower back and legs.  My neurologist says I have scar tissue pressing on nerves in my back and several bulging disks.  He says there is nothing he can do about the bulging disks since I have several.  I have tried many things to get rid of the pain to no avail.  Most recently I have had an epidural and a caudel.  The pain doctor I go to says the next thing is a spinal cord stimulator.  Can anyone suggest anything else.  ( I was born with Spina-Bifida in 1932; doctor did not know what it was and sewed my back up; no real problems until I was 75 years of age; my spinal cord was tethered; required surgery to release it.  Have been in pain since.

thanks.
