scared of some terrible nerve/brain disorder!!

just some questions for you kind people who may or may not relate, but have at least some experience. here is my issue----

im 29 years old, generally good health (besides high cholesterol and controlled asthma, and severe anxiety). I'm 28 weeks pregnant with normal blood pressure, and so far a pretty good pregnancy.

one week ago, i woke up seeing a wierd spot in my eye, went to an opthamologist and a retinal specialst who both said they saw a little bit of fluid in the back of my eye, and that nothing to worry about that the few things that could have caused it will self resolve, and that the spot itself may be visible for a few months.

since then.... Ive been getting wierd symptoms for 4-5 days now. It's tingling/vibrating sensation thru my hands, feet, legs and arms....and very occasionally thru the side of my head. i have no pain..... and no other issues....(no walking issues, no pain, no blurreed vision etc)... i went to my neurologist, who did the "point to ur nose/touch my fingers, etc examination" , checked my blood pressure, etc. she said i look perfect, has no idea whats causing the tingling sensations and said if anything gets worse to call her back.

2-3 days ago-- i started getting random twitching of my muscles.. random-- my right eye, then my left leg, upper arm, etc. on and off all day. for the past 2-3 days

again, there is no weakness, walking, breathing, or swallowing issues.

my neuro. did an mri of brain w/and without contrast 6 months ago witch was completely normal.....a cbc blood test 2 days ago, completely normal (accept for slight anemia probably pregnancy induced) .....also my thyroid was checked 6 months ago and perfectly fine.
If indeed i did have something serious...wouldnt something in blood work come back abnormal? such as high or low white cell counts or something??

my questions are --- from your experience do you see MS OR ALS???  as a possibilty ?? or something worse??? or is this just all stress induced? im very concerned and scared. noone has answers for me.

and also-------- do you believe the eye thingk, twitching and tingling are all related??? very confused.

I agree with ggreg that your symptoms are probably related to the pregnancy and anemia.  I am NOT pregnant and have had the same symptoms as you; different eye problems though.  My anemia is low too.

You do not have MS or ALS, else your neuro would have noticed the tell-tale symptoms right away, which are rather dramatic, and he would have run some tests for them.  Two eye docs explained what the spot is in your vision, so that is not connected.  Your anemia and being six months pregnant are the more likely reasons for having the tingling, twitching, vibrating sensations.  I think you might want to arrange to visit a nutritionist, could be you're not getting enough protein, that can also cause anemia.  Also, when you said vibration, I get that sometimes after a long ride in a car or an exhausting day, and I don't eat properly or get enough protein.  Keep in mind when you get anxious about anything, do some deep breathing, it'll calm you down.  And don't forget to continue to exercise regularly, simple stretching is great for releasing tension, and also drink a little extra water daily.  You could post over in the pregnancy type forum, see if some other mothers have similar problems.  Lastly, talk to your OB-GYN about this stuff, she may have heard this before in her practice, plus she can also recommend better eating ideas.
