sciatic injection neuropathy

Before one and half months, I had a patient with c/o boil in left buttock with severe pain. Treatment given was antibiotic and analgesic, and injection diclofenac sodium I/m in gluteal region, pt complain of pain and numbness of lowerlimb. Second day boil pain was better but thigh and caff muscle was paining with numbness, third day numbness and pain goes to caff and heal, next four day pt complain of same in only heal but pain was severe. I pris cribed multivit and analgesic after 15 days, EMG done results sciatic neuropathy with ongoing denervation by neuro physician, treatment given gabapentin bd and methylcobalamian tds now please answer, Can the prognosis be good or bad?
