sciatica and gapapentine

what is the long term side effects of 600mg daily dosage of gapapentine (neurotine). I suffer from sciatica from an year and I have taken this medicine on and off for about 3-4 months now. How safe is it to take the medicine for say about 10 months ?

Gabapentin is a widely used drug which has a very safe record. It has been used for years in patients with epilepsy and pain conditions. I am aware of no long term complications. Good luck.
