seizure activity

Hi, I had seizure activity when I had an eeg in the neurologist's office which showed sezure activity in my r temporal lobe.  then i had a 24 hr. eeg which was esentially neg.  Does this mean I don't have seizures?  I think i might have absence??? seizures because there is often a gap between things people say to me, so what they say doesn't make sense.  This is very embarrassing.  My neurologist is difficult to talk to.  Perhaps it is a language barrier.

The neurologist said that because the 24 hr. EEG was neg. I don't have have seizure activity.
