seizure systoms in children.

I have a 14 month old little girl.  She has just had a sllep study done and something showed up on the brain section.  The doctor said it could be seizures. She has never slept through the night, she falls all the time.  As well as appearing to be daydreaming.  She also has loose stools.  Are the signs of her having seizures?

Yes the sleep disturbance and clumsiness may well be subtle signs of a seizure disorder.  The loose stools are nonspecific and should be looked at separately,  Possiblilities for the loose stools include lactose intolerance or food allergies, parasites, certain genetic disorders, and many other things.

Follow up witht the  neurologist on the abnormal EEG.  Good Luck, Quix
