seizures related to heart

Hi, my son was diagnosed with myoclonic and absence seizures back in October 2008 after he had a video eeg at Detroit Children's Hospital. Recently one of my friends told me about something she watched on Discovery Health a few weeks ago about how some seizures have been misdiagnosed and it was actually a heart matter. My son was born with a heart murmur but the his doc said he grew out of it. Would it be possible that his heart murmur came back. He is 8 years old and has been complaining of his chest hurting.  Should i get him check out by a cardiologist and do you think its possible this chest pain might be contibuting to his seizures?

Thank you,
Tracy
