severely high cpk levels on stress exercise and cramping in limbs

I have the following symptoms:
1. My CPK levels on physical exertion rise at times to 900+, a small tabulation of the readings is attached along with for your reference. the cpk levels on rest come down to about 180 and around 200.
2. I currently weigh 116kgs. Use to weigh 3 yrs back 133kgs, lost approx 30kgs till Jan 2009.
3. I get a lot of cramps and especially on flexing my calf muscles my foot fingers, the rib cage area and thumb and fore fingers.
4. My EMG report is normal. Most of my other tests done till date, are normal.
5. My complaint is that I get very tired physically on exertion; feel sleepy throughout the day, even after a good night’s sleep. And currently feel as if losing memory with respect to recollection of names and my ability to multi task as before. At times I feel like I need to get my limbs pressed vigorously to relieve me of my muscle ache.
6. My vitamin D levels are very low.
The Readings are:  Vitamin B12- 327.90 pg/ml   (Reference range-211-946.0)
                                  Vitamin D 1,25- 13.70 pg/ml (Reference range- 19.6-54.3)
7.   I am currently taking supplements for B and D along with Homeopathic medicines for my     allergic cold and at times an ayurvedic medicine for general debility.
8. My heart rate at rest is 52bpm. The body metabolic rate (BMR) is 2800, on minimal exercise the heart rate goes upto 180/190bpm and takes a very long time to come back to range of 70/80bpm.
9. I would also like to mention that I was on blood pressure tablets (Stamlobeta) for almost 2 years from 2005 to 2007 but have discontinued the same under medical advice for almost 2 years now.
could someone please advise what is the problem and if there is a cure to it?
regards
deepaq

Hi, Thank you for your question. Usually, CPK-3 (creatine kinase) elevation is associated with muscle inflammation or injury. In addition, certain medications also interfere with the final test results. I think there may be a muscle injury or loss (after vigorous exercises) or atrophy in your case that is causing all the restless symptoms & higher CPK level and needs to be evaluated thoroughly. You may also require rest for few days to recover completely. I hope you find the information I have provided useful. Take Care.
