sharp pains in back of my head

by katschriber, Jun 14, 2009 09:28AM
the past 3 days, i've been experiencing sharp pains lasting 2 seconds or so, in the back of my head behind my right ear.  i've taken motrin800 and it seems to alleviate the pain until the motrin wears off.  then it returns.  i first thought my glasses may be too tight, but realized the pain isn't where my bow meets my head, but rather about 2" further up/back toward the middle. the pains come about 2 per minute, and until the motrin kicks in, keeps me from doing my normal functions.  i am right handed and work in my yard alot.  i'm 58 and post menopause.
