shooting pain in my head

Friday I was hit accidentally in the right side of my head with hard piece of plastic, a small bump came up and did not think anything about it. Friday evening about 4:00 pm I had an excrutiating headache and finally took a midrin and it got better about 8:30pm. I never have headaches but my husband has migraines and it was his medication. Yesterday afternoon I started getting shooting pains in my head around the area where I was hit, did not bother me during the nite but when I awoke this morning the shooting pains are back and the area is sensitive. No other symptoms with the shooting pains just sporatic. I took 2 Aleves and it seemed to ease the pain but still there on a less intense version.
